Welcome to virgin city fields (virgincityfields.co.za). This website is operated by virgin city fields. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to virgin city fields. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Weekly Order Cutoff Times

Because we source our grass-fed, free-range meat and organic food fresh to order, we operate on a strict weekly schedule:

  • Order Cutoff: All orders for the week close strictly on Tuesday at 10:00 PM (SAST).

  • Any orders placed after Tuesday 10:00 PM will automatically be moved to the following week’s delivery cycle.

2. Fulfillment & Delivery Schedule

We deliver your fresh orders right before the weekend to ensure maximum freshness:

  • Standard Delivery: Our primary fulfillment day is Friday.

  • High-Volume Adjustments: During weeks with exceptionally high order volumes, public holidays, or unforeseen logistical delays, deliveries may extend into Saturday. We will notify you if your delivery is shifted to Saturday.

  • Delivery Acceptance: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the delivery. Our handling of missed deliveries is governed by our Return and Refund Policy.

3. Product Availability & Substitutions

We deal with small-batch, seasonal, organic farmers and producers.

  • While we do our best to ensure stock levels are accurate on Shopify, fresh produce and meat weights can vary slightly, or items may become unavailable at short notice due to farm supply chains.

  • If an item you ordered is unavailable, we will contact you to offer an organic substitute of equal value, issue store credit, or refund the difference.

4. Pricing and Payments

  • All prices listed on virgincityfields.co.za are in South African Rand (ZAR).

  • We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time due to seasonal fluctuations in farming and meat production costs.

  • Payments must be cleared through our available online gateways before an order is confirmed for Tuesday's cutoff.

5. Customer Conduct & Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. We are not responsible for delivery failures resulting from incorrect addresses or contact numbers provided at checkout.
